Job Description
As the SIMS Manufacturing Supervisor, the person will be leading a team of OS (Operation Specialist) to deliver to factory CSIs (Safety/Quality/Control/Productivity) in accordance with plant policies and procedures, coach and develop the people to strengthen both in daily production execution and people management, developing competencies in operational Strategies, project management and effective employee relations/management practices. Work closely with multiple factory stakeholders to remove roadblocks and drive results across boundaries while at the same time ensuring an inclusive work environment.- The supervisor participates in production execution activities, including creating allocating resources, and estimating production requirements. They collaborate with other departments, such as manufacturing integrator, to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- The manufacturing supervisor is accountable for maintaining product quality standards. They monitor production processes, conduct quality checks, and implement corrective actions when necessary. They also ensure that workers adhere to quality control procedures and perform regular inspections.
- The supervisor provides guidance and training to production personnel, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively. They identify training needs, conduct performance evaluations, and implement development plans to enhance the skills of the team.
- Ensuring a safe working environment is crucial, and the manufacturing supervisor plays a key role in promoting and enforcing safety procedures. They identify potential safety hazards, implement safety protocols, conduct safety training, and investigate accidents or incidents to prevent their recurrence.
- The supervisor seeks opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency. They analyze production data, identify bottlenecks or areas of improvement, and implement changes to optimize productivity and reduce costs. They may also be involved in implementing lean manufacturing principles or other improvement methodologies.
- Keeping accurate records and generating reports is an essential part of the manufacturing supervisor's responsibilities. They maintain production documentation, such as work instructions, production reports, and inventory records. They also prepare reports on production performance, quality metrics, and other key performance indicators.
- The manufacturing supervisor collaborates with other departments, such as engineering, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure smooth coordination and resolve issues that may arise. They communicate production goals, targets, and expectations to the team and provide regular updates to management on production status and performance.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, operations management, or a related discipline is often preferred.
- Knowledge in manufacturing science and lean, data science, SQL, statistic, will be added advantage.
- Experience as Team Lead, Engineer or supervisor and has passion to manage people.
- Able to work 12 hours shift 4 days a week with 3 days off
