In short
The project manager for environmental sustainability will be the point of contact for sustainability matters in Asia, lead sustainability programs on the ground, and ensure that On’s suppliers achieve high environmental performance. The role is based in Ho Chi Minh City, reporting to the Asia Lead of Environmental Social Governance (ESG).
Your Mission
-
Contribute to operationalizing the sustainability strategy and responsible sourcing guidelines in collaboration with our suppliers in Asia.
Develop and lead key sustainability programs (including training for suppliers) related to renewable energy and energy efficiency, material, waste, water, and chemical management.
Co-build and implement the environment, health, and safety (EHS) programs
Build and train on sustainability topics both internally at ON and with suppliers.
Monitor and communicate the implementation of key sustainability programs between stakeholders across all levels.

You've got a degree in Sustainability & Environmental, law, but you're not ready to stop learning just yet.
You've got at least 5 years' experience in the field of environmental management and chemical safety (preferably within the apparel or footwear industry or similar manufacturing industry in Asia), and have loved every minute of it.
Environmentally conscious, you embrace the human drive for positive change.
Responsible, resilient, and adaptable, you take pride in your ability to manage a wide range of projects while always delivering WOW. You can see the bigger picture, but you know it's the fine details that really matter.
Your superpower is building lasting relationships, a skill that comes in very handy when it comes to managing the expectations of a variety of stakeholders.
Open minded, respectful, and a great listener, you're a master at expressing yourself, both verbally and through the written word. As a real linguist, you're as confident speaking and writing in Vietnamese as you are in English.
