We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven SMB Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. As an SMB Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling our cutting-edge software solution to B2B companies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in software sales, with a proven track record of success. You must be proficient in salesforce, Google Workspace, and sales automation tools like Groove.
In this role, you will thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, where adaptability and flexibility are essential. You must be comfortable operating effectively in the “unknown” and have a strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Field inbound leads and qualify prospects to determine their needs and fit for our software solution.
- Engage in self-prospecting activities to identify and target new accounts, leveraging various channels and strategies.
- Run a full cycle sales process from prospecting and initial outreach to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Understand customer pain points, business challenges, and objectives, and position our software solution as the ideal solution to address their needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of our software solution.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive customer satisfaction.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives, consistently delivering on revenue goals.
- Continuously update and manage sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system (Salesforce) to provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience selling a software solution into B2B companies.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Google Workspace, and sales automation tools like Groove.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a high level of initiative and drive.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome challenges.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of B2B sales processes.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary and variable commission based on closed-won opportunities. The commission structure is designed to reward high achievers and provide incentives for exceeding sales targets.
